My precious lil boy. He has been going through a lot. In our last update was that the tests results came back with good news. Saying it was just an infection & that it would go away! Well, we are still having some problems. After much thinking I remembered something. When I was little & even to this day I have had troubles with DAIRY! I called my Mom right away & asked about when I was Clayton's age what did I eat/drink. She said we didn't give you a lot of dairy due to the fact that Koreans are not use to a lot of milk. At that moment we both said "Oh wait a minute, could that be clay's problem" Right then I said I am going to switch him to SOY milk & yogurt. Just to see if that helps, maybe he doesn't have an infection at all! It could be MILK hurting him. I kept thinking more about it and realized Clay wasn't getting sick until we switched him to whole milk & most of you know that is Clay's favorite drink. He could drink milk 24/7. My mom & I thought it would be good to take him off dairy to see if things get better. As much as I am thrilled to see if this is work & to get my lil one healthy, I am also a little scared. I started playing the what if game. What if he is? His whole diet has to change? Soy products are expensive. Should I have known this sooner? All these questions and blame went into my head. I blame myself for not knowing this sooner if this is what he has problems with.
So, now as we sit here doing a SOY test. I just sit here with so many emotions.
But, on a happy note! Clay loves soy milk & yogurt. He also seems happier when he has it and we haven't had an upset stomach for almost 3 days now and his stools are normal! Could this be it?
Please pray we figure it out & soon.
P.s if anyone of you know where the best place is to get soy products let me know!
